Guide to requesting and sharing location information for coordination, safety, and field work management
Location Request
Location requests allow you to ask contacts to share their current location, useful for coordination, meeting up, field work verification, and safety purposes. This feature enables quick location sharing within chat conversations.

Requesting Location
Open Chat
Open EasyDo Tasks app and open a chat with the person whose location you want to request.
Select Location Request
From the options, tap on Location Request.
Confirm Request
A pop-up appears asking: "Send location request to this conversation thread?"
Options:
- Request Location: Send the location request
- Cancel: Don't send the request
Tap Request Location to send.
Request Sent
Your request is sent to the person.
They receive a notification and can easily share their location.
Responding to Location Request
For Recipients
When You Receive Request:
- See location request in chat
- Tap on the message
- Choose to share location
- Location is sent automatically
Privacy:
- You control when to share
- Can decline if preferred
- One-time sharing (not continuous)
- Respect privacy settings
